I'm looking for something fun to work on this weekend, kind of get myself back in the groove of working (so that I can actually get my butt in gear and have stuff ready for Artist Alley come Youmacon ^^*), so I want to do a bunch of fanart since I don't have the money to spend on materials for cosplay props right now. What are some characters from the series that you don't normally see artwork of that you'd like to see? Throw me some ideas ^^

I can already see the elitist people running amok in the Bones community, and I've already had my fair share of cosplay/anime/everything else elitists in other communities.

I think i'll just keep my love of the show to myself and only look for icons.

actually, you know what? I've got icons for them, I don't need anymore. i'm going to save myself the heart ache and leave all those communities save the one that'll remind me when it's coming back on.

I don’t know that I got across the emotions I was trying to convey here. I think that maybe they’re there, but they could be a lot clearer? I dunno. I was aiming for subtlety too, but maybe things could have been stronger?

Comments and constructive criticisms are welcomed, since this is the first time I’ve written in this fandom. Although I feel like I should be filling out kink meme requests, I got inspired to write this and I’ve learned not to ignore inspiration lest it leave me.

I also feel the need to warn that this is un-beta-ed, because none of my friends that I know of have played GS4, so all mistakes and errors are mine alone. Suggestions for a title are very welcomed too because I have no idea what to call this. It's short, I tried to make it sweet, here it is:

For the upcoming preorder, I would really like to have them professionally printed, but this will only be feasible if there's a large enough number of people wanting them. Otherwise, I will be doing them by hand.

Price for each shirt will likely be $20-$25, depending on if there's enough to get them professionally done or not.

oh god. There's this design job I'm probably going to apply for. i'm positive I can get it too, if I get an interview. But would it be wrong to tell them everything that's wrong with their website at the interview? They're still using TABLES for christ's sake! Gaaah! No no no~! The design is a bit clunky with massive amounts of rollovers that need to go, but otherwise not too bad? But TABLES. And Bad Seo!! Gaah! (and if bad seo makes me twitch, that tells you something because I hate SEO anyway.)

Even if web design isn't the *only* thing you do, NO company should ever ever evaaaaaaar be offering webdesign services using tables. That's just outdated, bad clunky code and baaad for SEO crap. geez! XD

They seriously need a css guru. Like me. (Why yes, pardon my arrogance.) XD

also: finally got the fancy rollover buttons good to go on my portfolio. Yay!

Some more Monkey news...

Firstly, the previously-announced two minute animated Monkey animated short, commissioned by the BBC for its Olympic coverage and featuring Monkey and pals travelling to the Beijing Olympic stadium is now available to view online on the BBC site. The video is accompanied by music by Damon Albarn. Check the video out on the BBC site here.

Finally, some news on the Monkey album front:-

The album is available to preorder from hmv.com here, and play.com here . These retailers give the UK release date as 18th August, but this has not yet been officially confirmed.
